Born in Chicago in 1983, Tony Scales, AKA Chef Tone is an American songwriter and a record producer. He landed in the music industry in 2008 when he was just 25 years old. In the short span of time, Chef has become a successful professional in the industry and turned into a figure of inspiration for many upcoming writers and producers.

Tony Chef is a remarkable writer, well known for his outspoken lyrics in the music industry.  He is widely recognized for his collaborations with the leading singers of the time, including Justin Bieber, Jamie Foxx, Sean Paul, Drake, and others.

Chef has received Grammy nomination twice in his exciting musical career. First for the best contemporary R&B Album for his contribution to the 2009 Trey Songz album Ready, and second for Best Reggae Album for his contribution to the 2015 Sean Paul album Full Frequency.
